CLATSKANIE - Christians are beginning to wake up to how to improve America by returning Congress and the Presidency to their Biblical roots. The following letter was recently printed in Christian News Nortwest.

America was discovered, declared independent, and constituted as a Christian nation. This fact is recorded at the end of the US Constitution in Article 7 which says, "Done in convention by the unanimous consent of the states present the seventeenth day of September in the year of our Lord one thousand seven hundred and eighty seven and of the independence of the United States of America the twelfth." The citation of independence includes the Declaration of Independence in the Constitution as established law which is a legal opinion by lawyer Anne Coulter. By the same legal mechanism, the citation of the year of our Lord includes the Bible as established law by reference.  read more »
