Victims of Liberalism
sevens - November 5, 2009 - 9:34pm President Obama has signed a hate crime bill, while simultaneously making America a more vulnerable nation. The new hate crime bill "piggy backed" on legislation that further weakened our sovereignty by killing plans for new weapons and war spending. America, pay attention this bill is a microcosm of liberal planning, President Obama rides on the Luxury that previous Presidents afforded him, by building the most powerful nation on Earth. The next US leader will be left to pick up the unpopular pieces of securing this nation.
The new measure expands currant hate crime laws by including violence based on gender, sexual orientation, gender identity, or disability. AP reports the defense part of the bill that wasn't cut, was a "must pass"; so republicans who realized that this legislation was an attack on free speech caved in to typical Washington politics, in order to get the defense dollars. **Hope and Change**
There is always a reason why a crime is committed, jealousy, greed, psychotic tendencies, hate, none of them are valid and all of them should be punishable by the appropriate measure. Our far left President and his ilk believe that victims of a crime are more important if they subscribe to a liberal lifestyle. If I get assaulted for my belief in Jesus Christ and his teachings it is now a lesser crime than a man who gets assaulted for believing he should have sex with other men. read more »

Coalition Guest Commentary - Rep. Todd Tiahrt: Taxpayer Subsidization of ACORN Fraud Must End
Coalition Commentary - October 8, 2009 - 12:27pmI am introducing a congressional resolution in the U.S. House of Representatives in light of the recent reports of criminal activity involving ACORN and their long history of tax-exemption abuse. I am calling on Congress to terminate ACORN's tax-exempt status under the Internal Revenue Code of 1986.
My resolution expresses the sense of Congress that the Association of Community Organizations for Reform Now (ACORN) should lose its exemption from taxation under the Internal Revenue Code of 1986.
I have introduced this resolution because of a number of abuses by ACORN. In Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, seven employees of the Association of Community Organizations for Reform Now (commonly referred to as ‘‘ACORN'') were charged with filing hundreds of fraudulent voter registrations before the 2008 elections. read more »
Capitol Hill Update: Democrats Continue to Defy Will of American People on Obamacare
Capitol Hill Update - October 1, 2009 - 8:32am
American seniors in recent national polls oppose Obamacare by margins of 2 to 1. Yet, as anyone, who has been watching coverage of the votes in the Senate Financial Services Committee, knows, the Democrats continue to defy the will of the overwhelming majority who oppose Obamacare including the bill which is coming out of Montana Democrat and Chairman Max Baucus' committee. Some 41% of the American people support Obamacare, an astoundingly low number of support for a program which will consume nearly 17% of the American economy.
On occasion, the American people gain a victory during the proceedings of the Senate committee. But far more often than not, the amendments introduced by Republicans to solve the real problems in our current health care system are voted down by the 13-10 Democrat majority, such as ensuring illegal aliens absolutely do not receive free health care in America.
Among the victories on Tuesday was the defeat of the two "government option" proposals and a 12-11 vote for Senator Orrin Hatch's amendment restoring the $50 million for abstinence-only education which had been eliminated by the Democrat-controlled Congress. read more »

Obama's Legion of flying Monkey's from Hollywood
sevens - August 6, 2009 - 5:42pmThey gather in the cool midnight air, circling the clouds, their brilliantly white capped teeth reflecting in the moonlight; right now they cast aside the temptation to judge their peers expensive face jobs, and focus on the task at hand, defending the messiah, lord Barack Obama. This legion of primates are indigenous to the land of Hollywood, closely related to the homosapien, only separated by a euphoric elitist psychosis and an innate hatred traditional values. read more »

California Tax Revolt - Part 2
Roberta Combs - May 22, 2009 - 10:59amThe voters in California on Tuesday severely rebuked the big-spending, big-taxing Republican Governor of California, Arnold Schwarzennegger. They overwhelmingly rejected, by a 2-1 margin, Governor Schwarzennegger's proposed tax increases and budget proposals which were supposed to meet his gargantuan $21.3 billion budget gap. And this was the governor who was elected to change things after the voters recalled his Democrat predecessor a few years ago because of the Democrat's big-spending, big-taxing ways.
California, in recent years, has rarely given the rest of us in America anything which was good for the nation. Considering that 33 states have either raised taxes to eliminate budget deficits or are trying to do so, the voters of California -- as they did with their earth-shaking Proposition 13 vote in 1978 -- have fired a shot across the bow of state legislatures and governors, and indeed, the Democrat-controlled Congress and President Barack Obama. read more »
Governor Rick Perry leads effort in support of states rights
Roberta Combs - April 15, 2009 - 3:25pmThe Tenth Amendment to the United States Constitution is pretty clear. It says that: The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the States, are reserved to the States respectively, or to the people. read more »
Tea Party Protesters Gird for Liberal Backlash
What would a party be without party poopers?
As anti-tax protesters organize tea parties across the country on April 15, rumors are swirling that a backlash is brewing.
Some believe ACORN, which has been under scrutiny for accusations of voter fraud, is preparing to crash some of the tea parties. But ACORN says it is only helping to organize dozens of rallies on the same day in support of President Obama's first budget...

Death Tax Needs to Die
Roberta Combs - April 6, 2009 - 3:48pmIn this Obama big-spending, high-taxing socialist era, at least one Republican in the United States House of Representatives is fighting back. The Chairman of the House Values Action Team, Congressman Joe Pitts, R-PA, introduced a bill last week which would permanently repeal the death tax, which liberals call the estate tax. What the Pitts' legislation will accomplish will be to allow family-owned farms and small businesses to remain in the hands of the families which inherit them.
Congressman Pitts said regarding his "Permanent Repeal of the Death Tax Act," H.R. : "Death should not be a taxable event. It is family-owned farms and small businesses who suffer the most from this unjust tax because these people pass down the business or the farm in the family. But the death tax can force farms and small businesses to sell assets just to satisfy the tax authorities. read more »
