Obama's New Budget Contains Massive Funding of Abortion, Planned Parenthood

I am going to go out on a limb here and dare to express my views.  Do I have those rights still today?  This man will not listen to the American people he is being paid to represent(and paid handsomely!).  I used to be quiet, until my children were coerced into attending a sex education classes.  I was required to meet with the school's "representative", who proceeded to attempt a character, intelligence assassination against me because "parents do not teach their children about sex" To her surprise, my children were able to tell her exactly how babies are conceived, with the correct identification of every body part and function.  The only difference seemed to be my attitude.  It was all wrong, according to her judgement.  She asserted that my children were certainly unaware of the suffering of homosexuals because of ignorance.   My oldest daughter piped up and told her that her uncle (my brother) had died of AIDS and had lived with us through a good deal of his horrendous battle with the disease!  Frustrated, she resorted to assuring her that her peers would certainly make her life unbearable if she chose to be different and not participate in this part of her education.  My children were enrolled in a private school within 24 hours, having never set foot on those school grounds again!

My point is this:

As long as I have life I will put my children and grandchildren's lives ahead of my own comfort!  Just seems to come with the territory, Washington D.C..!!  Nowhere in the constitution does it dictate how and what my children and grandchildren will be taught.  By the same measure, termination of life is not mentioned in our Constitution.  I am sure the President will be as persistent, and, unable to receive information from those he represents, as he has proven himself to be in every other "progressive" policy he tries to force down our throats!

I beg the tolerance and forgiveness of my political incorrectness in blogging my thoughts.  I AM a woman of prayer who has great concern for her government, and the follow citizens of the land I love!  But I have become bold in my "old age," and far less willing to be patient with those who pompously deem themselves smarter, more savvy and more humane than I am, simply because I bring my faith into all that I base my actions upon.

Jesus was not afraid to call a viper a viper!  He was unafraid in calling a demon by name, does anyone else remember when He pitched a fit and started overturning the moneychangers' tables in His Father's House?  Today I am aware that that Temple is not just a building, but the very core of my existence!  What I allow is my silent consent and agreement.  Does it now make a bit more sense that I am speaking up and encouraging everyone I speak with to do the same?  It is because I CARE!  I do not physically harm those I disagree with, but I am not afraid to speak up against evil! 

Angry?  I wonder what the conversation was among His disciples when they witnessed His display of anger!  He said that we are not to sin in our anger, not to ignore truth because of our supreme virtue!  There is a time for everything under the Heavens.  I have danced, but the times do not call for dancing, folks!!

To those who disagree with me, you have every right to disagree.  However, I expect the respect I deserve as a child of God, just as I respect you as a child of God.  My thoughts may at times lead me to sarcasm, but I do not endorce or encourage physical harm to another human being.  Duct tape was not to be taken literally,  for anyone who doubts my intentions!   Telling someone to sit down and shut up???

When my children had their turns at persisting in bad behavior, it became NECESSARY to tell them to sit down and shut up.  I would not be threatened or disrespected by them, nor will I  accept the same from the President!  I want to be represented honorably and truthfully, UNSELFISHLY would be nice for a change, but, hey, I can't hope for everything all at once, can I?  People would begin to think of me as a brat if I dared to presume I was THAT important!  Peace, prayers and love to all.  Shirley
